Candidate Requirements:

Required from September 2004 to join a team of five specialists, teaching across the age range from KS3 to A-level in this DfES Technology College. All KS4 pupils take D&T at GCSE. An interest in food technology would be helpful but is not essential as we prefer to teach to the particular strengths of the team.
An established programme of induction, mentoring and support exists for NQTs, to whom we could consider offering a contract from 1st July, but this is also an opportunity for a more experienced teacher to teach able and well-motivated girls in this oversubscribed selective 11-18 school.

About the School:

Currently there are 970 pupils in roll, including 250 in the mixed Sixth Form, and 68 teaching staff. The school has a caring reputation and purposeful ethos, and it benefits from Technology College Status and funding.
